This is one of my most challenging projects to fit 18 power switch gate drivers (IGBT for my case) in a single PCB followed by proper power and signaling with IDC connectors. The double-layer gate driver PCB array is interfaced directly with the TMS320F28335 DSP Board from Texas Instrument. The gate driver array could also be interfaced with other MCU/FPGAs as well. The main purpose of the gate driver array PCB is to be used with a Multilevel Inverter (CHB, FC, NPC, or other custom topology) where a massive amount of power switches need to be controlled at a higher frequency.
